Whether you're facing stress, anxiety, or simply seeking personal growth, this event will provide valuable insights and tools. Don't miss this opportunity to learn from a leading professional in the field and connect with like-minded therapists. Many of us move through life expecting that challenges will eventually disappear if we do the right things. In truth, however, stress and adversity, ranging from repeated hassles and inconveniences, like waiting in a long queue, to major life events, like injury or losing a loved one, will always be a part of life.

While we have limited control over what happens to us, we can choose how we think and react. This is what resilience is all about. Resilience is also about moving forward because stressful times can be great growth opportunities. A resilient person can bounce back from stress and effectively deal with challenges. With practice, stressful times can help us become stronger and teach us how to deal with similar situations in the future. This means that the most resilient people have had enough opportunities to “practice” with challenges. The good news is that all of us can benefit from such practice. We can all improve our resilience. Therefore, the key aim of this course is to help you develop your resilience so you can be better equipped to navigate life’s storms and pursue your ideal life. Take the first step towards a healthier and more resilient you!

This course includes instructor lecture, small group discussion, reflective practice, and a participant workbook. Each participant will receive an emailed certificate of completion.

Participants will be able to:

1. Develop and exercise resilience in the face of current life stress.

2. Use the Sailboat Metaphor to understand how to build resilience and apply it to everyday life struggles.

3. Create a resilience plan to use to strengthen resilience.
