About the Event
April is Stress Awareness Month. During the beginning of the pandemic we learned new self-care strategies, ways to prevent burnout and how to maintain a sense of balance in the unknown. This workshop will be a check-in to see how everyone has been coping and navigating through the pandemic. What did we learn about ourselves? In what ways has the pandemic changed us? How are we responding to stress?
The workshop is designed to help participants:
1. Recognize trends as a mental health provider during the pandemic
2. Understand the importance of monitoring the propensity to engage in self care
3. Discuss the renewed role of resiliency in counselor identity
