About the Event
The DSM-V can be an intimidating tool when diagnosing your clients. Â During this weekly series, we will review the diagnostic criteria of 4 mental health disorders, have an in-depth review of the Mental Status Exam and it's role in diagnosing. Â You will earn 1.5 hours every Wednesday as we discuss and learn DSM-V criteria on a deeper level. Â We owe it to our clients to proficiently understand diagnostic criteria.
Participants will be able to:
1. Evaluate the etiology underlying the mental disorders.
2. Understand diagnostic criteria of mental disorders.
3. Review prevalence, differential diagnosis and associated features.
